About Goat Banking

The CBFA Goat Banking Program is a unique opportunity to participate in agriculture, even if you don’t own land. Designed to support economic empowerment and food sovereignty in Black, African, and Caribbean communities across Canada, this program allows members to invest in livestock ownership while we take care of the farming.

How It Works

Initial Investment

$1,000 gives you shared ownership of a female goat housed and cared for at one of our CBFA farm locations.
2

Renewal Participation

$1,000 renewal fee every two years to stay in the program.

Births are shared equally between CBFA and the investor.
