Tell us about yourself:
I am student at University Canada West. I am studying to have a Master of Business with majors in finance. With Bachelor of Arts degree I have and had built a career as an entrepreneur in fashion, sales and real estate, before coming to Canada to study. I have a lot of interests in traveling, working with people who are under represented and insecure. My goals are to build a thriving business that would eventually support growth in our local community and to my hosts, the government of British Colombia and Canada at large.

How long have you been farming and why are you interested in farming in Canada:
Initially, I did not start out as a farmer, rather my mom and I started a fish feed manufacturing business as late as 2017. When we started this I saw the impact we made across several fish raring communities and farmers in turn as we needed to get raw materials directly from farmers. In Canada, my thought process was to work with farmers who had farm produce that were rejected(defaced) and sell them off to customers at a lower price. My farming idea pivoted into farming vegetables for our local community here in Canada. Although the weather isn’t the best for the kind of crops we grow, I want to be able to farm fresh vegetables to sell to our African community here in Canada. I have also had communications with other country nationals within Africa who are also interested in buying our freshly farmed and harvested vegetables.
