Tell us about yourself:
I’m a new immigration in Canada currently homeschooling 2 kids. I’m a early childhood educator passionate about raising wholesome children and imparting knowledge. My interests are kids, family, nature and serving God through my life purpose.
How long have you been farming and why are you interested in farming in Canada:
I grew up in a home where we grow our food, my father grew on the farm and built our home upon growing majority of our food including fruits and rearing animals like goat, sheep and ram.
I recently changed my family’s diet to all nature based where we avoid any form of additives and artificial ingredients.
This is important to me as I’m a parent and trying to set good examples for the kids. It has always been a part of me to grow something no matter how little and after doing it for a while, I’d like to learn more especially how to do it right in this climate.
I’m also very passionate about nature which include reducing waste therefore I’ve been turning my food waste to compost and would like to grow my food naturally like I do back home and get the best. I’d also like to include some poultry.
A farm life is a dream life for me and as a homeschooling mum, I’d love to teach my kids to empower themselves through nature.
