Tell us about yourself:
Hi I have been living in canada since about 10 years old but was born and raised in England and Ghana. I have had a deep desire to move back to Ghana and become more self sustainable and provide opportunities to my family and community that are living there. I’m currently working as a personal trainer and nutrition coach on the oil fields in Alberta. I work a 2 week rotation with 2 weeks off, I also use to be a chef. Nutrition especially plant based has been a big part of enriching my life and those around me and it only makes sense for me to make the transition to learning the process of growing my own food!

How long have you been farming and why are you interested in farming in Canada:
I do not have much farming experience but am very passionate about the power of plants and nutrition. I do enjoy manual work as some of my most enjoyable work was landscaping. I’m physically fit as iam a personal trainer so working hard is something I embrace. I didn’t realize the opportunities in canada for farming as I was planning to move to Australia to learn and eventually bring those skills to Ghana, my motherland. It would be such a blessing if I could learn and gain the experience in Canada! I hope you will consider me for employment! Regards.
