About the Youth Leadership Empowerment Program

The CBFA Youth Leadership Empowerment Program is a national initiative for youth 30 and under who are ready to shape the future of agriculture in Canada. Rooted in leadership, food sovereignty, and advocacy, the program empowers young people to take the lead in defining what farming and food systems will look like for generations to come. Through mentorship, hands-on experience, and community-driven projects, participants gain the tools, confidence, and networks to champion culturally relevant agriculture and drive meaningful change.
